**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at the Geary Street Store in San Francisco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the donation area, assisting donors, and ensuring that all donated materials are properly sorted and processed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and clean the donation area, including the trailer and surrounding areas
  • Assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide receipts
  • Separate and sort donated materials into proper containers and stack them as instructed by the supervisor
  • Assist with loading donations onto trucks as needed
  • Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out
  • Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift

**Requirements:**

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors
  • Ability to read and write and understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse or customer service setting
