We currently have an opening for a full-time Financial Records Specialist. In this role, you will report directly to our Partners and Managers and will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assisting clients with their bookkeeping needs
  • Providing support and resolving issues related to accounting software
  • Calculating and preparing government remittances, including GST/HST and payroll
  • Preparing various tax forms, including T4's and T5018's
  • Completing filings for WSIB and EHT
  • Recording investment transactions using Excel or specialized software
  • Preparing personal income tax returns

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A post-secondary education with a focus on accounting
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a public accounting environment
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
