The Construction Safety Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing safety protocols and practices to guarantee the effective execution of construction projects. This position collaborates closely with project teams, including Foremen, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers, emphasizing adherence to safety regulations, enforcement of safety measures, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. The Construction Safety Supervisor is tasked with conducting site inspections, delivering training, coordinating safety initiatives, and engaging in incident investigations to uphold a secure working environment.

**Preference will be given to candidates located in the surrounding areas.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site inspections and safety evaluations.
  • Deliver training sessions on safety protocols.
  • Coordinate safety initiatives and reduce potential hazards.
  • Engage in investigations and compile reports.
  • Assess risks and hazards, formulating mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management.
  • Stay informed on health and safety advancements.
  • Lead the health and safety agenda.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • CHST Certification is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction safety.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • OSHA 500 and 510 certifications are required.
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED instructor certification.
  • Proficient in various safety disciplines.
  • Self-driven with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication abilities.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Participation in a drug screening program is mandatory.
  • Background checks will be conducted.
