Job Title: Traveling Project Superintendent

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Project Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our Advanced Facilities Group, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects with moderate complexity, ensuring timely and profitable completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety, Quality, and EEO.
  • Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
  • Coordinate and manage the care, custody, and control of the project site.
  • Attend, manage, and participate in progress and/or project OAC meetings.
  • Communicate key project information to owners, design team, governing authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Follow the project filing and documentation organization system as dictated for the project.
  • Manage material and equipment needs for the project.
  • Support the MOC and DLSC procurement and approval processes.
  • Assist in the selection of formwork, tools, and equipment necessary to complete self-perform operations.
  • Ensure quality compliance through the use of specifications, setting quality standards, in-house QA/QC, and outside resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of field supervision experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate).
  • Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects.
  • Knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.
  • Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project.
  • Proficiency in project management and accounting software (intermediate).
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (intermediate).
  • Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability, and generate future work through building relationships (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of organizational structure and available resources.
  • Knowledge of crane flagging and rigging (advanced).
