Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain a high-performing team focused on achieving man-hour objectives.
  • Oversee the assigned production activities on the shop floor in collaboration with the Paint Shop Manager.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation for each task to meet scheduling requirements.
  • Ensure all completed tasks are inspected according to the repair station manual.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
  • Facilitate customer communication regarding all assigned shop activities.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to coordinate activities such as hanger shuffles, test flights, and aircraft washes.
  • Manage advance planning to ensure smooth workflow for ongoing projects.
  • Work with the Paint Shop Supervisor to ensure team members have the necessary tools and materials to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Assign goal times to discrepancies and manage technician performance to meet expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of production/manufacturing principles and warehousing best practices.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
  • Advanced experience with materials management systems.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including recruiting, directing, and evaluating staff.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, including the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Military.
