Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of pilots to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Director of Flying & Chief Pilot in monitoring the day-to-day operations and performance of the pilot group.
  • Participate in base management staff meetings and act as a liaison between the Flight Department and other departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pilot performance and reduce operational risks.
  • Collaborate with local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage leaves of absence for all base pilots and ensure seamless coverage during absences.
  • Participate in grievance hearings and union negotiations, as applicable.
  • Assist in the administration of the collective bargaining agreement and other company policies.

Requirements

  • Two to three years of Part 121 or 135 experience required.
  • Pilots license with ATP rating required.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
