Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Newrest. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and delivery of all products stocked by the company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize warehouse activities to provide the most efficient and cost-effective service in line with budgeted service levels and performance targets.
  • Monitor the processing of all incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensure that stocks are maintained and stored in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
  • Supervise the use and maintenance of delivery vehicles, cooling units, racking, and warehouse fittings, and report any malfunctions or difficulties to the Contract Field Manager.
  • Ensure a clean and well-organized warehouse environment and maintain all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the arrival of trucks and aircraft, provide reports, and check and file delivery and credit notes.
  • Update goods in the system with correct costs, monitor purchase and sales orders, and manage perpetual inventory.
  • Input approved and authorized stock adjustments, ensure the Culture & Value program is understood, and communicate it to staff.
  • Follow all applicable policies and procedures, make recommendations for continual improvement, and support company improvement initiatives.
  • Order goods and supplies to maintain minimum stock levels, liaise with senior managers on ordering goods outside financial parameters, and ensure goods received meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Complete all administration related to deliveries, document non-delivery, substandard deliveries, or overpricing, and ensure correct stock rotation and issue management.
  • Ensure maximum security of storeroom areas, inform management of spoilage or damage, and take stock at prescribed intervals.
  • Attend meetings or training courses as required, motivate staff to maintain safe procedures, and effectively supervise staff to ensure HSE rules and procedures are followed.
  • Raise HSE/Hazard awareness, follow the Newrest HSE plan, and achieve HSE targets set in the yearly HSE Plan.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to work under pressure.
  • Managerial experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to motivate staff to maintain safe procedures and achieve QHSE targets and objectives.
  • Effective supervision skills to ensure HSE rules and procedures are followed.
  • Ability to raise HSE/Hazard awareness and follow the Newrest HSE plan.
