Position: Project Construction Specialist

We are seeking a qualified individual with a solid background in construction management, particularly in areas such as scheduling, logistics, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional customer service skills.


Compensation:
$22-25 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Construction Specialist will undertake various tasks, including:

  • Overseeing and ensuring adherence to client specifications.
  • Coordinating all warranty-related activities, subcontractor engagements, initial customer visits by the Construction Manager, and inspections with relevant building authorities.
  • Inputting leads and job details into the operational system, ensuring accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reviewing and confirming project documentation.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with customers and clients.
  • Distributing estimates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Onboarding new subcontractors while ensuring compliance with insurance and licensing requirements.
  • Issuing purchase orders in alignment with project budgets.
  • Ordering necessary materials and supplies.
  • Updating project schedules and timelines, while maintaining the Work-in-Progress (WIP) report.
  • Conducting a final review of project documentation upon completion and making necessary updates.
  • Managing collection activities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the construction field.
  • Experience in scheduling, logistics, and dispatch is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent customer service, administrative, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.
  • High school diploma or GED; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
