Network Technician

$75,000 - $95,000 yearly

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Remote Position

Earn 2 weeks of vacation after 90 days of employment

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Network Technician at our Wilmington, OH Service Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement approved Network changes in accordance with applicable procedures
  • Configure and install Cisco routers and switches
  • Analyze and diagnose network problems for a variety of users in a multi-tenant environment.
  • Assist network Engineer(s) in the form of requirements analysis, network application design, implementation, problem investigation and resolution, and network application evaluation
  • Create, publish and maintain up to date and accurate Network documentation
  • Perform necessary upgrades to the network infrastructure as needed.
  • Function as a point of contact between vendors, and internal or external organizations to ensure timely transition of fix and maintenance activities.
  • On call as required.
  • A minimal amount of travel may be required.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience installing and supporting data network solutions
  • 1+ years' experience supporting Cisco routing and switching protocols
  • Entry level experience designing network routing, switching, security, and datacenter architectures
  • Experience supporting network security platforms - Palo Alto, F5 LTM/ASM/APM a plus
  • CCNA or equivalent experience a plus
