If you are enthusiastic about technology and innovation in Automation, Instrumentation, and Controls, GEMÜ is seeking a dedicated Automation Systems Engineer to provide outstanding product support and enhance customer engagement with our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert product support to both internal and external stakeholders for the Automation and Instrumentation product range, addressing inquiries, specifications, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Interpret and clarify technical concepts and product documentation for a diverse audience.
  • Specify GEMÜ products in alignment with customer needs and industry standards, while staying informed about market trends.
  • Evaluate competitor products against GEMÜ offerings, providing insights on features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve technical challenges related to Automation and Instrumentation products.
  • Relay customer feedback to the global GEMÜ Group for product improvements.
  • Develop product literature, presentations, and additional resources to aid in troubleshooting and training.
  • Enhance product knowledge through comprehensive training programs for clients and colleagues.
  • Travel to client locations as needed for support, training, and issue resolution.
  • Document activities using CRM software.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering and automation principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to comprehend complex work instructions in English.
  • Effective communication with varied audiences.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Familiarity with Automation and Instrumentation products such as position indicators and solenoids.
  • Understanding of automation systems including PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Automation languages and communication protocols.
  • Experience in the Industrial Automation or Pharmaceutical sectors is beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role.
