We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at El Pollo Loco. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising assigned shifts, providing guidance and support to crew members, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train crew members to ensure high-quality service and food preparation
- Manage inventory, scheduling, and financial tasks to maintain cost controls and contribute to sales and profit goals
- Ensure compliance with security, food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant environment, preferably with a fast-food or quick-service background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Basic math and computer skills, with proficiency in Point-of-Sale systems
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
