We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pacific Palms Resort. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our kitchen and food production outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Executive Chef, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and food production outlets.
- Develop and implement production and productivity strategies to meet budget and business forecast targets.
- Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Construct and adhere to production sheets on a daily basis, ensuring product availability for all restaurant and banquet items.
- Fill out and complete order guides and station production sheets based on business needs.
- Direct proper sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Monitor and control daily food production, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our guests.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure they are utilized by all staff members.
- Manage time effectively, troubleshooting and problem-solving on multiple aspects of kitchen production.
- Maintain good working relationships with property outlet management and other departments.
- 2+ years of experience as a lead line cook or higher.
- 2+ years of experience in all food production.
- Expertise on all kitchen stations.
- Culinary education preferred or length of experience in a fast-paced kitchen operation in a hotel/resort or busy upscale restaurant.
- Food Handler's certification required.
- Able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
