Job Title: Healthcare IT Infrastructure Specialist

This is a Hybrid role with 6+ Months duration, based in Richmond, VA. The job type is Corp-Corp / 1099 / Contract W2 and the hourly rate is $40.

The ideal candidate will have experience in recognized Electronic Health Record Systems and excellent organization and planning skills. They should also have an understanding of technology utilization in business processes for the EHR program.

About the Role:

This position involves identifying and quantifying IT risk factors for EHR application security and related infrastructure. The candidate should have knowledge of Active Directory, Group Permission, PC refresh and software installations, inventory and software management utilizing Asset Panda, managing user accounts, receiving and transferring inventory to maintain accurate records. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and quantify IT risk factors for EHR application security and related infrastructure;
• Work with Keystone Edge, Microsoft OS, MS Office, DocuSign, Panda, VITA Remote tools, DEXIS, Adobe, Teams/SharePoint, VPN access, and inventory operations;
• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request;
• Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies;
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues;
• Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures;
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis;
• Upgrade administrative tools and utilities;
• Configure/add new services as necessary;
• Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures;
• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning;
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required;

Requirements:

• Working knowledge and experience with Keystone Edge, Microsoft OS, MS Office, DocuSign, Panda, VITA Remote tools, DEXIS, Adobe, Teams/SharePoint, VPN;
• Required 5 Years of Experience;
• Ability to create, change, and delete user accounts per request;
• Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures;
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools;
• Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures;
• Experience in a recognized Electronic Health Record System (EHR) Highly desired;
