At Serigor Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Servicenow Certified Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing top-notch technical support services to ensure timely problem resolution and optimal system performance.

Job Overview

This is a 12+ month onsite position that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultative and technical support services to DBHDS staff, including installation, configuration, setup, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computer hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for providing technical support to all areas within the organization.
  • Provide expert-level telephone, walk-in, and email support to the Help Desk Field Faculty Staff Help Desk, as needed.
  • Accurately document request history and work in Help Desk Ticketing System; documentation of efforts through the ticketing and inventory management systems.
  • Manage system updates and patches and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Triage and route advanced second and third-tier requests to the appropriate technical personnel.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals in areas such as network services, software systems engineers, and application developers to provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of the user.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, with analytical skills to evaluate problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical users.
  • A strong focus on customer service, interacting with users who may be frustrated or anxious.
  • Hands-on experience in a help desk or technical support role and experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed records of issues and resolutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.
  • Experience using tools, such as PDQ and shell scripting, for configuration management, software deployment, and automation of routine tasks.
Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
