Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our technical network infrastructure, implementing patches, developing and designing new infrastructures as needed, and managing associated needs such as application and system software, configurations, hardware, LANs, WANs, and other related requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Design, develop, and implement new network infrastructure solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage application and system software, configurations, hardware, LANs, WANs, and other related requirements to ensure seamless operation.
- Implement security measures across hardware and software in accordance with company requirements and update documentation as needed.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues and implement solutions as needed, addressing software and hardware complications.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience implementing Next-Gen Firewalls and Load Balancing solutions, particularly with Fortinet and F5 technologies.
- Experience utilizing public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for network infrastructure deployment.
- Experience with industry networking tools for monitoring, management, and inventory management.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining highly secure infrastructure solutions within network environments.
- Prior experience working with industry networking tools: monitoring (Splunk, NetScout, Zabbix), management (Prime, ISE, Aruba Central) inventory management (Netbox, IPAM), DNS solutions.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Scripting experience with modern scripting languages (python, GO, PowerShell) and tools (versioning, GitHub, Ansible) as well as experience utilizing REST API's, JSON, and YAML.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly secure infrastructure solutions.
- Strong teamwork skills, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- At least 5 years demonstrated experience providing desktop support in an Active Directory environment.
- Experience imaging desktops.
- Experience providing remote support.
- Experience in help desk (plus).
- Must be motivated, able to multitask, and ensure deadlines are met with minimal supervision.
