Job Title: Asset Management Director

Arbor Realty Trust is seeking an experienced Asset Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Management group, you will be responsible for the management of assets in our loan portfolio and/or overall management of our REO property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans associated with various real estate-related assets, including mezzanine and bridge loans, REO properties, and preferred equity positions.
  • Coordinate with senior management to analyze strategies for workouts, foreclosures, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Conduct active portfolio surveillance, monitor loan/property performance, handle problem loans, assist on note sales, and coordinate workouts/restructures.
  • Administer REO activities as needed, including overseeing property management, brokerage/sales, and evaluating properties to determine liquidation strategy.
  • Lead valuation efforts, working with the Asset Management team to update property valuations and prepare loan portfolio performance reports and metrics.
  • Maintain complete records of approved actions and borrower/lender client communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Accounting; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of Asset Management experience, with an emphasis on REO Asset Management, valuations, relationship management, workouts, capital markets, and rehabilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate markets, particularly in office, residential condominium, and hospitality sectors.
  • Ability to think creatively and present ideas clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
Travel:

Up to 30% of the time.
