Job Summary

The Application Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of CVCH's Enterprise business applications. This position requires a subject matter expert who can provide technical and functional support to clinical and administration staff/users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain CVCH's Enterprise business applications using industry best practices for IT Service Management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base content for the IT Service Desk and Operations staff.
  • Manage relationships with technology suppliers and integration partners.
  • Perform routine reviews of product release information and pilot/test new functionality.
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure new functionality and changes are successfully adopted.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field required.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred.
  • ITIL 4.0 Foundations certification preferred.
