Aviation Life Support Equipment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Life Support Equipment Specialist to join our team at Army National Guard Units. As an Aviation Life Support Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining various types of aircraft survival equipment, including oxygen generators, emergency oxygen systems, and life support systems.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, test, and certify aviation life support equipment to ensure it meets safety and operational standards.
- Repair, assemble, and maintain equipment, including oxygen generators, emergency oxygen systems, and life support systems.
- Certify initial and continuation training of aircrew and other personnel in the use of aviation life support equipment.
- Conduct follow-on test and evaluation (FOT&E) of aviation life support equipment to ensure flight safety and optimum performance standards.
- Supervise, instruct, and certify traditional Guard members on all facets of the aircrew life support career field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 18 months of experience or training in the field of aviation life support equipment is required.
- Ability to understand written instructions and use reference materials and manuals is required.
- Competitive salary: $62,000 - $85,000 per year.
