Position Summary:

We are seeking an Administrative Generalist - FHL to contribute to our operations.

In this capacity, you will be tasked with supporting various operational areas and managing daily workflows. The Administrative Generalist will engage positively and professionally with each department and represent the company effectively.

This position requires onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the distribution of mail and ensure accurate mailing of all outgoing correspondence generated by claim specialists.
  • Conduct research and follow-up on returned mail, providing reporting as necessary.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy when interacting with policyholders and agents.
  • Process policyholder requests in SOAR with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Facilitate constant communication regarding incoming and outgoing documents and faxes.
  • Assist with the voiding and reissuance of returned and outstanding checks.
  • Support the Billing department by preparing incoming mail for direct and group payments.
  • Monitor for trends, issues, or potential fraud, and assist with agent investigations.
  • Provide assistance with various office functions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to two years of customer service experience is essential.
  • A strong commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and flexibility is expected.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial.
  • A positive and helpful demeanor is essential.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines is important.
  • Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues is expected.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
