Position Summary:

We are seeking an Administrative Generalist to provide comprehensive support across various operational functions. In this role, you will engage with multiple departments and represent the company in a professional and positive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the distribution of incoming mail and oversee the mailing of outgoing correspondence generated by claim specialists, ensuring accuracy and adherence to proper claim protocols.
  • Conduct research and follow-up on returned mail, providing detailed reporting.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy while communicating with policyholders and agents.
  • Process policyholder requests in the SOAR system with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Facilitate communication regarding incoming and outgoing documents and faxes across departments.
  • Assist with the voiding and reissuance of returned and outstanding checks.
  • Support the Billing department by preparing and managing incoming mail for direct and group payments.
  • Monitor for trends, issues, or potential fraud, assisting with agent investigations as needed.
  • Contribute to various office functions as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to two years of experience in customer service is essential.
  • Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and flexibility, along with strong support for management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also functioning independently.
  • A positive and helpful demeanor is expected.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities are required.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in identifying, researching, and resolving issues independently.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
