Administrative Generalist I
Overview of Responsibilities
The Administrative Generalist I plays a crucial role in facilitating various operational functions and managing the daily workflow within the organization. This position involves engaging with multiple departments and clients, representing Globe Life Inc. in a professional and positive manner. The individual must possess a diverse skill set to effectively manage tasks across different office areas while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the distribution and mailing of all outgoing correspondence generated by claim specialists, ensuring each letter is accurate and adheres to the proper claim format.
- Conduct research, follow-up, and reporting on returned mail.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when communicating with policyholders and agents.
- Process policyholder requests in the SOAR system with precision.
- Maintain constant communication with various departments regarding incoming and outgoing documents and faxes.
- Assist in the voiding and reissuance of returned and outstanding checks.
- Support the Billing department by opening and preparing incoming mail for direct and group payments.
- Monitor trends, issues, or potential fraud, and assist with agent investigations.
- Contribute to various office functions as needed.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of experience in customer service is required.
