Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in the coordination of anesthesia services within Memorial Healthcare's hospital and ambulatory settings. Working under the supervision of the Chief CRNA, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient patient access, appointment availability, and procedure scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely and efficient patient access, ensuring that patients receive benchmark customer service.
  2. Assist with the scheduling of patients for surgery and procedures in the hospital and ambulatory settings.
  3. Verify that all anesthesia charts are completed with the necessary documentation for processing and billing.
  4. Collaborate with the Chief CRNA and other clinical leadership to support the provider and clinical staff within their scope of practice.
  5. Provide high-level administrative support to maintain operations in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.
Requirements
  1. Associate's degree or equivalent applicable college coursework, seminars, or work experience in management and supervision.
  2. Minimum one year medical or administrative office experience, with reception or cross-trained medical assisting duties required.
  3. Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

  1. Proficiency in modern office, computer, and telephone equipment as used by Memorial Healthcare.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with co-workers, hospital staff, administration, patients, physicians, and the public in a professional and effective manner.
