Position Overview

Pact is seeking Partners with a minimum of seven years of experience in corporate law. As a Partner, you will be instrumental in generating new business for the firm and will collaborate closely with clients and staff to provide insightful legal guidance on the challenges faced by businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new client relationships and identify opportunities for the firm's sustained growth.
  • Assist businesses in preventing, navigating, and resolving intricate legal matters.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and legal tasks with varying deadlines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Law Clerks and Associates.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the firm.

Essential Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in contract analysis.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable adapting to evolving technology.
  • Self-driven with outstanding time management capabilities.
  • Ability to oversee client matters and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Sound business judgment and a high level of professionalism.

Educational Background

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
  • Active membership in good standing with a State Bar Association.

Experience Requirements

  • Applicants must possess at least seven years of law firm experience in corporate law.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring a transferable book of business is essential for consideration.

Compensation Structure

In contrast to traditional law firms, Pact compensates attorneys based on a percentage of client fees. While conventional firms typically offer salaries that represent only a fraction of the value created, Pact attorneys earn a percentage of collected fees for their origination and matter responsibilities.
