Position Overview

The ACC is seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role is pivotal in supporting our organization's growth strategy and ensuring compliance with legal standards across various operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as an integral member of the legal team, focusing on commercial matters and risk management.
  2. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to navigate legal complexities.

  4. Champion the organization's contracting standards and ensure adherence to legal policies.
  5. Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial agreements, including service contracts and partnership agreements.
  6. Quickly and independently prepare legal documents as required.
  7. Develop and promote best practices in contracting and legal processes.
  8. Provide comprehensive legal counsel on various issues, including intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  9. Facilitate communication between different departments to resolve legal challenges.
  10. Contribute to the development of legal templates and knowledge resources.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Qualified attorney with a valid license to practice in the United States.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, with a focus on international agreements.
  3. Experience in a reputable law firm is preferred; prior in-house experience is a plus.
  4. Fluency in English is required.
