As a member of the Legal Team, you will engage with various departments to support our strategic business initiatives, provide legal expertise, foster legal innovation, and embrace new methodologies in our pursuit of excellence.

As a Corporate Legal Advisor, you are expected to be a highly experienced attorney, capable of independently managing a comprehensive range of legal matters affecting the organization, with a strong emphasis on commercial agreements. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Integrating fully into the Legal Team, focusing primarily on commercial issues, risk assessment, and enhancing internal processes.
  2. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective legal support.
  3. Conducting risk evaluations and offering practical recommendations for decision-makers.
  4. Championing the organization's contracting and risk management protocols.
  5. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts, including master service agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, primarily representing the organization in its service provider role.
  6. Demonstrating proficiency in swiftly drafting legal documents.
  7. Implementing and advocating for legal policies and procedures, while assisting in obtaining approvals for any deviations.
  8. Providing general legal counsel across a wide spectrum of issues, including intellectual property, data protection, competition law, and conflict resolution.
  9. Collaborating effectively within the Legal Team to address complex legal challenges.
  10. Acting as a liaison between different functions and the business to resolve legal matters.
  11. Contributing to the development and maintenance of legal resources and templates.
  12. Performing additional duties as required.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  1. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Adopting a responsive and practical approach to addressing ad hoc requests from the business.
  3. Strong analytical abilities and creative problem-solving skills, balancing business and legal objectives.
  4. Providing legal guidance in a dynamic environment, managing multiple ongoing matters.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  1. Qualified attorney in the United States.
  2. 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting with international exposure.
  3. 3+ years in a reputable law firm preferred; relevant in-house experience is advantageous.
  4. Familiarity with data processing agreements is a plus.
  5. Fluency in English.
