Position Summary:

Automated Control Concepts LLC is seeking a Program Manager to enhance our team. The Program Manager will be tasked with planning, supervising, and executing intricate projects from inception to completion. This role typically involves resource management, coordinating team activities, and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the defined scope and quality standards. Occasional travel to client sites may be required, and there is potential for career advancement. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position, reporting directly to the Director of the Project Management Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan that encompasses scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource distribution.
  • Identify project tasks, dependencies, and significant milestones.
  • Assemble, lead, and manage a project team, delegating responsibilities and tasks effectively.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, support, and motivation to the team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, team members, and clients; regularly update on project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks; formulate contingency plans to address potential challenges during project execution.
  • Oversee and manage the project budget, ensuring efficient and cost-effective resource allocation; monitor expenses and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Define and implement quality standards for project deliverables; conduct regular quality assessments to ensure outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
  • Supervise the daily execution of project tasks, monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with the project plan; resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Establish project monitoring systems, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage changes in project scope and assess their impact on timelines, resources, and budget. Implement change control processes to minimize disruptions and maintain project objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and relevant artifacts.
  • Identify lessons learned from completed projects and integrate best practices into future initiatives, driving continuous improvement in project management practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science) is preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility, driving revenue, managing costs, and fostering profitable growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in IT, Automation Systems, or Construction.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, particularly Smartsheet and ZOHO Projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Prior experience in Automation Controls, Manufacturing Intelligence, Critical Infrastructure, and IT4OT systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and industrial data collection and programming platforms is a plus.
  • Project management certification, such as PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or Google Project Management Certificate (GMPC), is preferred.
