Job Title: Principal Maintainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Maintainability Specialist to join our team at Info Way Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintainability and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintainability engineers to identify and define Line Replaceable Units/Modules or Shop Replaceable Units for analysis.
  • Perform maintenance task analysis, defining maintenance task steps, equipment, tools, times, and personnel requirements.
  • Develop and present project technical results, recommendations, and solutions to internal and external customers.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate engineering work for medium-sized projects.
  • Act as the project technical expert to guide less senior technical personnel in all aspects of Maintainability Engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with six (6) years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline with four (4) years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline with two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to perform standard Maintainability Engineering tasks such as Maintainability Assessment, Design Influence, Level of Repair Analysis, Spare Parts analysis, and the identification of Line Replaceable Units.
  • Ability to lead and mentor less senior Maintainability Engineers and provide advice and directions during project execution.
  • Skilled in reading and comprehending engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of Maintainability Engineering.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency with Opus, SLICwave, or Microsoft Access highly beneficial.
  • Specialized technical knowledge of relevant military standards a plus.
