Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at Salvation Army U.S. in Kailua. As a key member of our donation team, you will play a vital role in assisting the public with donations of goods and maintaining a clean and safe donation area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the public with donations of goods, ensuring a positive and courteous experience.
  • Maintain the donations area in a clean and safe condition, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Receive and process acceptable donated materials, while courteously rejecting materials deemed unacceptable.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be physically able to lift and move donations, as well as stand for long periods of time.
