Position Title: Reception Coordinator

The Reception Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the front desk. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Welcoming and assisting all visitors, including members, parents, and volunteers.
  • Answering phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the KidTrax database, including member registrations and attendance.
  • Organizing and filing essential documents such as daily sign-in sheets and requisitions.
  • Processing donations and managing cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
  • Keeping the front desk area tidy and well-organized.
  • Ordering and managing office supplies and clubhouse necessities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of two years in administrative support or office management is required. Alternative qualifications may include graduation from a business school or an associate's or bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in using computers, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
