Reception Coordinator - Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii

Location: Kailua, Hawaii

Minimum Experience: Mid-level

Compensation: $12.00/hour

The Reception Coordinator role at the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and assisting all visitors, including members, parents, and volunteers.
  • Managing incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining the KidTrax database by entering new member information and tracking attendance.
  • Organizing and filing essential documents such as daily sign-in sheets and requisitions.
  • Processing donations and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and well-organized.
  • Ordering and managing office supplies and clubhouse necessities.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma required.

Experience: A minimum of two years in administrative or office support roles.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in using computers, including word processing and database management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a busy environment.

This position offers a flexible schedule, typically Monday through Friday, with a total of 35 hours per week. Benefits include medical, dental, and paid time off.
