  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and lead operational staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
  • Performance Management: Set performance goals and objectives for staff, providing guidance and support to achieve the goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive work environment and promote team collaboration.
  • Office Participation: Daily participation in the office setting to ensure the operation of the company runs smoothly, efficiently, and that all guests are satisfied.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Best Practices: Work with the Director of Operations to implement and maintain best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and execute plans to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Financial Management: Assist the Director of Operations in the management of operational budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in the vacation rental industry in an operations management or a similar role.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Field Experience: Experience within the field preferred.
  • Education: Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Licensed Property Manager: Licensed Property Manager.
Physical Requirements
  • Communication: Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Physical Demands: Exert 10+ pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Vision: Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Environmental Conditions: Subject to internal and external environmental conditions.
