Customer Service Associate Job Description

We are a customer-obsessed, innovative, and dynamic retail company that values our employees and strives to create an amazing work environment. As a Customer Service Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every customer.
  • Support sales growth by utilizing sales techniques, communicating product knowledge, and recommending merchandise to customers.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as pricing and visual standards.
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance, to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Model and promote the company's Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and provide a fast and efficient register experience.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
  • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent client communication through the utilization of customer books.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
Physical Requirements:
  • Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
