About the Role:
This LPN role involves delivering age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and an integrated plan of care. The successful candidate will administer prescribed medications, identify incompatibilities, and document patient care accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver direct patient care according to medical orders and multidisciplinary plans
* Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
* Document patient care consistently and thoroughly
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote patient well-being and safety

Requirements:
* Current LPN licensure in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
* AHA BLS certification or equivalent
* Varies based on transitional duty assignment experience required

Benefits:
Licensed Practical Nurses work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Individual shift rotation and schedules are established with the Nurse Manager/Practice Manager. Schedules may be adjusted as necessary to meet unit requirements.

Work Environment:
The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with potentially hazardous and infectious substances. Physical demands include lifting 50-100 lbs., prolonged standing, sitting, bending, and walking. Mental demands include strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, reading, and logical thinking.
