Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an ambulatory setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

About the Role

The Clinical Nurse I, II, and III roles work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. As a nurse in this role, you will assist in preventing illness and injury, maintaining wellness, and providing comfort to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and an integrated plan of care.
  • Safely administer prescribed medications, identifying potential interactions and incompatibilities.
  • Recognize changes in patient situations and intervene appropriately.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility in a compact state (Clin I, Clin II, Clin III).
  • AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent (continued employment requirement).
  • 12-24 months of RN experience for Clin II, 3 years of clinical experience for Clin III.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as an LPN, nursing assistant, or care partner in an acute care setting or applicable area of practice is preferred for Clin I. Academic healthcare experience and similar patient population exposure are desired for Clin II and Clin III.

Physical Demands

This role requires prolonged standing, sitting, frequent bending, and walking. You will also be exposed to potentially hazardous substances and infectious agents.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around $65,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
