We are looking for a dedicated Lead Aquatic Supervisor to oversee our pool facilities and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. This role involves a variety of supervisory and safety responsibilities aimed at maintaining high standards of aquatic safety and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with established pool rules.
- Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all users.
- Oversee the operation of water slides and aquatic features, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct aquatic safety classes and assist in organizing special events.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to manage the upkeep and organization of pool facilities.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere for residents and staff through effective communication and teamwork.
- Complete daily operational tasks, including safety checks and maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all patrons. A background in lifeguarding, along with certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED, is required.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects up to 45 lbs, and working outdoors in varying temperatures. Candidates must be able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
