Lakeview Commons Assisted Living aims to provide a secure and welcoming environment while assisting residents with daily living activities that may become challenging due to health issues or the aging process.

We are currently seeking an Activity Director to fulfill the following role:

  • Work Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation Overview

  • Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing educational programs, fitness classes, social gatherings, spiritual activities, outings, special events, and personalized activities for approximately 50 residents in a Health and Rehabilitation setting.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • A demonstrated enthusiasm for working with the elderly population.
  • Proven ability to effectively organize, plan, and execute activities for both small and large groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel to create daily, weekly, and monthly activity flyers, reminders, calendars, and newsletters.
  • A willingness to collaborate as part of a team and assist other departments as necessary.
  • A passion for creativity and the ability to add unique and meaningful details to all activities.
  • Flexibility in scheduling for special evening and weekend events.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, volunteers, vendors, and visitors in person, via phone, and through email.
