Golf Course Play Coordinator

General Overview:
Under the guidance of the Golf Division, the individual in this role will be tasked with maintaining the pace of play and ensuring adherence to the established rules and regulations on the golf course.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $14.42 to $17.98, contingent upon qualifications and experience.This is a part-time position with a maximum duration of 10 months, requiring less than 30 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
The employee will have specific duties in the following areas:
- Welcome players and ensure their check-in is completed using the designated technology.
- Initiate play by calling players to the course.
- Monitor cart usage, record turn times, and track finishing times.
- Oversee the pace of play in accordance with the established guidelines.
- Ensure accurate billing for all players.
- Communicate with the pro shop regarding walk-on players and manage the cleaning and organization of golf carts.
- Explain the Ready Golf Program, current course conditions, and emphasize the importance of green repair and cart regulations.
Additional Duties:
May be required to assist at various facilities within the division, with training provided as necessary by the supervisor. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, waste removal, cleaning, painting, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May be responsible for training and overseeing new play coordinators as directed.

Demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to accept constructive feedback. Must be capable of following both oral and written instructions and effectively communicating with colleagues and the public.

Education and Experience:
Preferred candidates will have two years of prior experience in a golf course management role and a solid understanding of the game of golf.
Equipment Used:
Utility vehicles, two-way radios, record-keeping tools, tablets, golf carts, range equipment, and ball washers.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in various outdoor settings. The incumbent may need to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in diverse weather conditions and be available for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
