Senior Administrative Coordinator

Position Summary:
The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administrative functions, ideally between 7 to 10 years. Candidates should possess strong general office skills and a solid understanding of the acquisition process. Effective communication with various levels of personnel is essential. The ability to secure a security clearance and experience in travel coordination are mandatory. Preference will be given to those with federal government experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of office and administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Conducting basic statistical and budget-related activities.
- Preparing and analyzing routine documentation.
- Managing scheduling, travel arrangements, and documentation procedures.
- Providing support to acquisition personnel.
- Executing a range of administrative and secretarial duties to facilitate the operations of the assigned director and office.
Specific Duties Include:
Reviewing information from both government and contractor sources to identify potential issues; managing incoming correspondence and announcements; drafting letters; maintaining the supervisor's calendar and scheduling meetings; proofreading and editing various documents; preparing electronic time and attendance records; maintaining tracking systems for action items and controlled correspondence; arranging travel logistics; and performing additional tasks as required.
General Office Support:
The role encompasses providing comprehensive office administration, programmatic assistance, and secretarial support, which includes scheduling, file management, customer service, data entry, spreadsheet preparation, and operating office equipment such as copiers, telephones, and fax machines.
Educational Requirements:
An Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
