Overview:
This role involves the coordination of research initiatives, utilizing applicable research management systems, processes, and monitoring the progress and completion of clinical studies and trials. The position may also support the design and acquisition of funding for new study protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with the principal investigator, sponsors, and research personnel to strategize, execute, and assess project protocols. Monitors and communicates project progress as needed.
  • Facilitates informed consent, delivers clinical education, performs clinical procedures, and conducts other clinical evaluations on study participants according to the protocol and within the scope of practice. Aids in the pre-screening, selection, education, testing, and monitoring of research participants.
  • Evaluates the eligibility of potential participants. Conducts informed consent, applies clinical judgment, provides clinical education, performs clinical procedures, and executes physical and other clinical assessments on potential and active study participants per the protocol and within the scope of practice.
  • Coordinates with the investigator to manage adverse events, compliance, and other participant-related matters. Facilitates the education of necessary parties. Ensures the completion and maintenance of consent forms, case report forms, serious adverse events, and source documents.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate actions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience and 2 years of research experience.
