About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at Graybar. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships to drive sales growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annual gross margin budget targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in sales training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) setting
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight trips, to meet with customers and attend sales meetings
