Treasury Services Sales Specialist

As a Treasury Services Sales Specialist at 1st Source Bank, you will be responsible for driving sales activities within the Treasury Services Department. Your main tasks will include developing marketing programs, assisting with new financial services, and maintaining existing client relationships to meet sales goals within your assigned region(s).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with both prospective and existing clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Prepare and present Treasury Services proposals to assist clients with cash flow management, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Lead regional initiatives and participate in relationship reviews, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure excellent service for existing clients and cross-sell additional financial services, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement and maintain Treasury Services to meet customer needs, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Coordinate new client setups and provide training and ongoing service, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Participate in training for Treasury Services product generalists and assist in new employee training, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Develop a sales and marketing strategy for Treasury Services programs in your region, driving growth and revenue.
  • Provide educational meetings to internal departments on Treasury Services, promoting awareness and understanding.
  • Collaborate with management on new product rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and ensure the bank offers up-to-date financial services, staying ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of banking and Treasury Services experience, with a strong understanding of financial markets and services.
  • Proactive sales skills and ability to develop new client relationships, with a focus on building trust and rapport.
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on prioritization and time management.
Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a focus on finance, business, or a related field.

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, and seminars, as well as overnight travel, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, use office equipment, and occasionally lift/move items, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.

Equipment:

MS Office, PC, phone, and standard office equipment, with a focus on technology and innovation.
