Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to provide essential support within our Catering Department. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Location: American Century Main Street, Kansas City, MO

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with varying hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Coordinate scheduling for events and meeting spaces.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Operate office equipment, including printers and computers.
  • Assist in the distribution of important communications and materials.
  • Maintain and organize the department's filing system.
  • Oversee office supply inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Respond to general inquiries regarding catering services and events.
  • Prepare various documents, including correspondence, catering menus, and orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to invoices, inventory, and work orders.
  • Assist in researching outstanding accounts payable and provide necessary information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
