Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Full Time Nights

DMC Receiving Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Michigan, is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a physician, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to patients with respiratory conditions. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing cardiopulmonary care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement cardiopulmonary care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy.
  • Instruct employees and students on respiratory care procedures and evaluate their competence.
  • May serve as an in-charge therapist and preceptor as requested.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an AMA/CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BCLS certification is required, with ACLS certification preferred.
  • Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
