Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transition Readiness Program Manager to join our team at the U.S. Marine Corps. As a key member of our Personal and Professional Development Branch, you will play a critical role in overseeing the Transition Readiness Program and ensuring its success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and evaluation of the program and employees through active coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop annual budgets for the TRP and SkillBridge, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fiscal sustainability.
  • Manage the planning and coordination of special events, such as job and career fairs, and provide facilitation and support for all other TRP activities and events.
  • Ensure professional development skills, such as resume writing and interviewing techniques, are consistent with current standards in the civilian workforce.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. You must also possess a degree that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours appropriate to the position, including courses in tests and measurement, adult education, educational program administration, curriculum development, teaching methods, guidance and counseling, career planning, and occupational information.
