Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Navy-wide policy for the Skill Bridge program, as well as advising management and military members on program execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Navy-wide policy for the Skill Bridge program
  • Advise management and military members on program execution
  • Utilize knowledge of Navy fitness reporting system
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of policies and requirements relative to the Voluntary Education and Enlisted Education and Credentialing programs
  • Participate in study groups and conduct planning, programming and coordination of resources for the efficient management of the program
  • Provide supervisory direction to subordinate team members on the execution of the Skill-bridge and Voluntary education and enlisted education programs
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Qualifications

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Apply extensive knowledge of the Navy-wide Skill Bridge Program
  • Utilize knowledge of Navy fitness reporting system
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of policies and requirements relative to the Voluntary Education and Enlisted Education and Credentialing programs
