Position Overview:
We are in search of an Operations Analyst who will play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating key performance metrics of clinical initiatives, utilizing data to enhance these programs. This position involves supporting clinical leadership through extensive research, stakeholder interviews, data collection and analysis, workflow design and optimization, and the implementation of operational enhancements—all aimed at facilitating the coordination of clinical programs. We seek an individual who demonstrates professionalism, a commitment to innovation, and a collaborative, strategic, and hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to refine clinical programs in accordance with strategic objectives.
- Establish a systematic approach to the evaluation, analysis, and enhancement of clinical programs.
- Lead the improvement initiatives for clinical programs, encompassing research, analysis, structuring, presentation, and execution of operational enhancements.
- Coordinate operational modifications with program and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive work plan to drive process improvements across a portfolio of programs.
- Engage closely with the Summit Consulting Team to generate and present critical insights and opportunities for clinical program advancement.
- Contribute to Summit's commitment to delivering value at every partner interaction.
- Assist Summit leadership in documenting processes to foster repeatable and scalable programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in an analytical or operational capacity within a healthcare environment.
- Experience working directly with clinical leaders or managing clinical programs is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical abilities coupled with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A sharp eye for identifying process enhancements and a passion for operational efficiency.
- Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to create clear and concise documentation suitable for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in critical thinking and capable of working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communicator who can engage and influence senior management teams.
- Self-motivated individual who excels in a dynamic and collaborative team setting.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
