EHR Systems Analyst

OrthoIndy Hospital Northwest is seeking a highly skilled EHR Applications Analyst to join our team.
About the RoleThe EHR Applications Analyst will be responsible for evaluating system and user requirements to understand requests and changes. This role will provide support for clinical applications, using analytical and leadership skills to promote system optimization, best practices, and reduce manual solutions.

- Provide support for clinical applications, using analytical and leadership skills to promote system optimization, best practices, and reduce manual solutions.
- Use in-depth understanding of athenaOne, its features, admin tables, configuration, and functionalities to efficiently troubleshoot application and workflow-related problems.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address issues and support end-users, escalating issues in a timely manner when appropriate.
- Act as a liaison with department leaders, providers, and other end-users to assist with questions, concerns, and issues related to athenaOne.
- Develop Knowledge Base (KB) articles for other analysts to use for future issue resolution.
- Understand and promote improvement through systems integration, identifying and helping to implement integrations that can reduce manual workflows and workarounds.
- Evaluate application implementations and configurations to determine if the organization is maximizing capabilities and modules available.
- Attend training for clinical applications and seminars as needed to stay current on healthcare systems, regulations, and best practices.
- Research best practices to continuously improve processes for providing application support and implementation services.
- Participate in after-hours call rotation.
- Prepare and submit status reports to IT Management.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
- 6-8 years of related experience required, 8-10 years of experience preferred.
