Key Responsibilities- Production Operations Management: Manage the daily production operations of the facility, including the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support employee and food safety, product quality, asset effectiveness, and workplace organization.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to production personnel to achieve plant-specific goals and objectives through continuous process improvement and alignment with the company's mission and core values.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on weekly/monthly trends to ensure the achievement of production goals and objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, FLSA, EEO, OFCCP, and NLRB.
- Quality and Food Safety: Develop and implement quality standards and food safety programs to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality products.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual production operating budget and standards to ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office; ability to develop and implement training programs and operational procedures; proven leadership and team-building skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
