Position Summary:

The Cosmetics department is the vibrant core of our store, where the energy is palpable as customers enter. Our Cosmetics Beauty Advisors are skilled professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service and showcasing our extensive product range, both in-store and online. The primary responsibility of a Beauty Advisor is to foster and nurture client relationships through outstanding service and in-depth product knowledge, while ensuring an engaging merchandise presentation. Advisors provide makeup application tutorials, skincare consultations, and treatments, offering expert advice on the latest trends. A successful Beauty Advisor is approachable, enthusiastic, and committed to prioritizing customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a seamless and enjoyable in-store experience that encourages customer relationship building.
  • Boost sales by effectively engaging with both in-store and online clients, utilizing technology proficiently.
  • Contribute to the merchandising and operational tasks associated with the role.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Prior sales experience is essential, ideally within the cosmetics sector.
  • Capability to comprehend and interpret instructional documents, including safety guidelines and procedural manuals.
  • Flexibility to work varied retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • This role necessitates extended periods of standing and walking throughout the store.
  • May require bending, crouching, kneeling, and the ability to distinguish colors.
  • Regular use of computers and other technologies is essential for job functions, including handheld devices and cash registers.
  • Frequent lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs is expected.
