About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake, Utah. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will conduct internal audits following regulatory, industry, and internal quality guidelines, including ISO. The successful candidate will ensure accurate data collection, conduct process audits, and follow up on closure of open audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal quality guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address audit findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Monitor and report metrics to meet business needs.
  • Prepare reject reports and analyze rejects/defects for patterns of process errors.
  • Provide feedback to production areas concerning process deviations.
  • Facilitate Quality Alert meetings and provide process training as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional skills.
  • Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge and may lead process.
  • Has awareness of new techniques.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
